When I first visited Glen Ord 6 years ago, the 18 yr old was £85. Then Diageo increased prices & it went to £120. Each Singleton was priced differently, Dufftown was always the cheaper of the 3. Now there is parity & all the 18 year olds are £85.
Are the price adjustments more the just parity?

my objection is that it appears to be set up in an 8+3 parity setup, though this may be due to supporting consumer-grade thumbdrives rather than a specialized version designed to let the connectors nearly butt up against each other

I feel like it's a balancing act. Reward parity means you can avoid mechanically penalising roleplaying options, at the cost of flattening out how interesting and narratively impactful those are.

My thanks as well. I raised much more than I anticipated I would at the start. In terms of spending, It looks like I was about parity with my opponent - which I find interesting.
Some of these Utah battleground races and even the reach seats are pretty insane we out raised or out spent a lot of GOP incumbents

To put it into different terms, did Israel become more or less aggressive after 1978? What did taking Egyptian parity off of the table do in concrete terms for Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria? Why does the US invest so much into propping up the Camp David Accord? The answer is actually obvious.
the reasons why this is viewed as objectionable are either that the people who believe it think that “having a military” is in and of itself morally objectionable because “if we just didn’t have weapons, we couldn’t do war”, or belief that all wars are caused by “the west”
The purpose of NATO is to scare Russians with the prospect of a violent and painful demise should they attack a member state and I'm tired of having to pretend that's objectionable
