I just think there's better ways for northernlion to extract value from his wealthier fans. Like a pseudo-philosoohy course. Or a memecoin.

I incorporated a lot of stuff I learned in my Jewish Civilization class into my spiritual beliefs/philosoohy. And when my brother converted to Islam and I researched the history of Islam in AA culture, I incorporated a bunch of that too.

October Philosophers!

It’s the best time for you to reread Nagel’s famous paper: “What’s it Like to Be a Bat.”

(No matter how much echolocation data and science a person still doesn’t know what it is to be a bat! 🤓)

If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Because I love the idea of a day, solely dedicated to philosoohy. But I was unaware of it, doubtless through a lack of outreach efforts.
Happy #WorldPhilosophyDay everyone! How are you celebrating? #philsky

I'd like to say great man theiries are untestsble by nature. Butvundisoutably, there have been revolutionary figures, in statecraft, warfare, philosoohy, economics, and religion. How do we define 'greatness usefully? To describe only human' bkack swans'?

Some things change.

Many of us have a different life philosoohy and morals than a section of the population.

We don't even want to lead our lives similarly.

Sometimes conscious uncoupling makes sense.

Personally, I want to live in a society that gives less of themselves to tech like AI.

When it comes to concepts created by humans, we should never forgo a reasonable degree of skepticism.

This applies equally to science, philosophy, and religion.
