This is interesting, not least because my experience of a parent dying (of cancer, in a hospice) is that properly funded palliative care that enables a 'good death' is what we should be striving for. Not assisted dying. And my career as a disability practitioner only strengthens that view.
This is very interesting in Sunday Times. Those who have lost a parent in their life are more likely to support assisted dying than those who haven’t. It’s intensely personal isn’t it - personal experience can shape views both ways.

In my lay-man's opinion it should be followed by practitioner assisted meditation and finally teaching self-induced meditation.
BTW, practitioner assisted meditation and self-induced meditation worked for me as early intervention for multiple psychiatric disorder (including depression.)
