Word is that our eBay CS-200 just needed the power board rebuilt!

The other meter was our PR-650 (now repaired!); that CS-100 is proving recalcitrant, but we found another one on eBay (works) and a CS-200 (now off with our specialist for an attempt at repair).
Well, time to hand it (and a different broken meter) off to our machine shop and their excellent electronics specialist.

As an early christmas present I want to get myself a new laptop... because mine is slowly dying. I want to buy a macbook again (currently using a 2017 Intel Core i5). Any suggestions on what I should get?

During my phd Manchester had a regular courses. I followed introductory Fortran, matlab and version control. Spent a week in Durham studying psychtoolbox that was v useful.
