Needless to say, I have been waiting a long time for that moment to come back! Much has changed in those years since in Toronto with many higher structures being developed, creating a picturesque urban backdrop for the water bomber demo. This allows for unique, above perspectives of the water drops!

This Canadair CL-415 is one of 9 in the AFFES fleet. The manufacturing of future Canadian water bombers will be made by De Havilland and will be named the DHC-515 Firefighter. Pictured is the CL-415 turning back into the display with a Canadian Flag billowing in the background.

#3: CL-415 Water Bomber: The last time I witnessed a water bomber perform a water landing was the last time they were present at the Canadian International Air Show in 2008.. one year before I picked up a camera and pointed it at a plane for the first time.

In addition to this being the 75th annviersary of the Canadian International Air Show, it was also the 100th anniversary of the Ontario Provincial Air Service, and this was represented on the CL-415 Super Scooper with a decal on the endplate of the wings.
