Icymi. Very good to see public-facing information about how Ireland’s fee-free abortion service is being provided since the people-powered legal change of #repealedthe8th

These changes are what the review of the legislation reccomend, but FFG have sat on thier hands.

These omissions were also pointed out by @freesafelegal.bsky.social at the time the legislation was being passed.

The shelved report this government ordered with its review of our flawed abortion laws, has the recommendations laid out to fix it. But FF/FG don't want to.

We will have to force them to make the changes needed.

Our abortion laws and policies, are still forcing people dealing with Fetal Fatal Abnormalities to travel to the UK for healthcare which should be provided for here with compassion.

Absolutely bawling at the brave lady Denise on #morningireland & her atrocious treatment by the Irish state. Medical professionals hands are tied by these restrictive abortion laws. The trauma. Shipping the problem overseas. What an incredible woman & all the women who go through this #speirgorm

Forced birthers are fascists, so this is entirely consistent for them. Basing this on Irish experience..#repealedthe8th
The MAGA numpties and JD Vance were out marching and crying about fertilised eggs yesterday. Not a word about a little five year old boy kidnapped and taken to a camp in Texas. They don’t give a fuck about children.

Good decision by Ireland, but why was a medical procedure in their constitution in the first place? #RepealedThe8th

I see the same people are lying about the proposed bill to amend the abortion legislation to provide more compassionate care.

Fact Check: Did a narrow vote in the Dáil almost open the door to abortion ‘up until birth’?
A 73-71 vote narrowly failed to revive a bill to change abortion legislation.

FF and FG don't want to be surprised by another 'quiet revolution' like & #repealedthe8th.

Sure Ireland's largest once largest dicussion site which is Irish owned was described as being Subversive of the State.

Yeah boards.ie that's been crippled too.

What we achieved in terms of #marriageequality and #repealedthe8th I don't think would he possible now.

Not the live tweeting of people sharing thier stories or being able to have people connect & form groups, or have journalists connect with orgs/groups/people.

It was deliberately destroyed.
