We need to get rid of the 12 week limit to abortion access for many reasons. But forcing a teenage asylum seeker who is having mental health problems, possibly due to being pregnant, to go to court to access care is abhorrent

Great to see that the legislation we fought for, for years, is ensuring more women can access these services at home.

There is no medical reason what so ever. It is an obstruction to timely healthcare, and forced people out of the legal time period for abortion, at home here in Ireland.

There is "no scientific support" for a mandatory waiting period for abortions in Ireland, according to the chief medical director of the Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA).

How hard would have #repealedthe8th have been if any discussion about abortion or why we needed to change the law and constitution, was age gated behind needing to share your passport?

Our abortion laws and policies, are still forcing people dealing with Fetal Fatal Abnormalities to travel to the UK for healthcare which should be provided for here with compassion.

Absolutely bawling at the brave lady Denise on #morningireland & her atrocious treatment by the Irish state. Medical professionals hands are tied by these restrictive abortion laws. The trauma. Shipping the problem overseas. What an incredible woman & all the women who go through this #speirgorm

Forced birthers are fascists, so this is entirely consistent for them. Basing this on Irish experience..#repealedthe8th
The MAGA numpties and JD Vance were out marching and crying about fertilised eggs yesterday. Not a word about a little five year old boy kidnapped and taken to a camp in Texas. They don’t give a fuck about children.

Yup we have found each other fairly quickly, it's been a joy to connect here with people, esp those I got to know as we worked together to make a #repealedthe8th referendum happen.

We are still networked, still wanting a better ireland & better world.

#housing & #TransHealthCare are on our agenda
I was speaking to a TD this week and they memtioned the EU petition which we collectively pushed up from 52% to over 100% of Ireland's national threshold.

They said it was the first time they'd seen collective action happening in the new networks.

Capacity is still here, because the people are.

The shelved report this government ordered with its review of our flawed abortion laws, has the recommendations laid out to fix it. But FF/FG don't want to.

We will have to force them to make the changes needed.
