Yes, and in the US, even with 40K people being killed in traffic crashes each year, drivers seem to keep looking for new ways to crash into people. Kids/older adults should have opportunity for safe active travel, yet elected officials don't seem to want to take action needed for #SafeStreets4All

Yes, and need great emphasis on movement of people over cars/trucks, along with lower speeds. I cannot even get the local transportation folks out to experience the 'fun' of crossing a four lane 55 mph state highway, at an intersection between neighborhoods, without signalization. #SafeStreets4All
