OZ9AAR has released his Satellite Tracking app, SatTrack, for anyone to download at moonbounce.dk/hamradio/sat.... I can report that it works very well, especially on data satellites compared to SatPC32.

It's released as is with no support.

@arissintl.bsky.social #Fram2Ham thanks for a great event, UHF presented more of a challenge, but signals were great, I operated remotely from work so tracking Pol changes was tricky. Icom 9700, satpc32, MMSSTV, Wimo XQuad @2m0sql.com Pass-recorder #iss #sat #hamr #ariss #sstv

Over the past couple of evenings, I have been building my own desktop satellite-tracking app. It's in C# and uses Avalonia UI, and it's multi-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac). I am trying to solve the SatPC32 pain points.

I'm guessing the usual WSJT-X, N1MM+, FL-Digi and whatever day to day logger you like to use and SatPC32 if you're into sats :)

Cool! One of the most popular satellite tracking programs was written for the C64, the successor of SatPC32, by Erich DK1TB. However, I was in the ATARI faction. My first non-homebuilt computer was an ATARI 400/600 used at the groundstation for TT&C the AMSAT P3 satellites.

updated my webpage of the series 23 images for the #ISS #SSTV series 23 event www.qsl.net/m0pwx/Iss-SS... @arissintl.bsky.social

i now have acceptable images of all 12 images

not bad when my setup is only a Diamond X300 whitestick, Ft991a, Yoniq SSTV decoder and satPC32 for doppler control

Focus is back on satellite operations and a better workflow. I’ve been a satisfied user of the CSN S.A.T. controller with the IC-9700 & Yaesu G5400B rotator. I’m now using SatPC32 for rig control, as the SAT is a bit of a CAT kluge and presents issues preventing easy sweep of linear transponders.

you did better than me, i missed the 1st 2 days

these are the best ones i got here in JO01ij (kent)

diddly squat again for me .even on the ic9700 cat controlled for doppler via satpc32 last night ,im not overly impressed with this new replacement crossed dipole .WX images are showing more noise as well compared to the old one🤔 ,i picked up the materials for a QFH for the WX side of things🤞🤞

@arissintl.bsky.social
watching #ISS #APRS traffic tonight, not done it for a while

only a low pass max elevation 24 deg, next pass should see more stations

SatPC32 for tracking, UZ7HO softmodem for reception/decode and pinpoint APRs for decode of APRS packet and mapping

I’m using the S.A.T. Controller www.csntechnologies.net/sat However, I also use SatPC32. Its NORAD ID is 57190U. It’s listed in the amateur radio TLEs at celestrak.org.

The frequency control and audio are on a Windows machines since MMSSTV works fairly well.
