The TTC intends to open the Scarborough Busway Wednesday, September 30. Buses along the new bus-only corridor replace the former Line 3 Scarborough. Since November, 2023, TTC buses have temporarily operated along Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue to replace Line 3. Those buses will soon operate along the new busway.

The line closed on July 24, 2023 after a derailment south of Ellesmere Station.
