All big manufacturers sell battery semis that work perfectly under European driving laws (speedlimit 80 kph, max 4 1/2 h of driving, 45 minutes uninterrupted break necessary) if they can be charged during breaks. Towing limits of cars are still low but I don’t think that’s a technical limitation.

Teslas technology is literally fatally flawed unfortunately. From inability to read signs to inability to detect objects before hitting them. This weekend I proved beyond doubt that speedlimit signs are not read. It ignored every one on the entire length of the road displaying incorrectly in car.

Autopilot and FSD get many things wrong and do the wrong thing often. I'm certain they don't read speedlimit signs because it drove past every sign on the road this weekend that said speedlimit 50 while displaying 55 in the car and driving based on 55. I used cruise control and scrolled speed down.

As someone who is just starting to drive, it is crazy how much cars are up my arse or honking at me, or speeding and overtaking me because I dare to FOLLOW THE SPEEDLIMIT like a law abiding citizen. I basically just ignore the car behind me and pretend they don’t exist whenever I drive.
