Also it would give us a version of Supersizers that doesn't have Giles "cum shots on her chest like Zorro" Coren chewing with his mouth open and doesn't lean on the historical myth that alcohol was the only thing we had to drink before pasteurization was discovered.

If I ever get massive fuck-off amounts of money, I'd get the rights to make US versions of those pseudo-reality shows the BBC does every so often that involves people experiencing how life was in different historical periods. (Supersizers Go, Back in Time, The Historic Farm, etc.) They're so good.

This seems similar to supersizers go. Also a British series but it’s only two people and they skip around a bit covering a wider series of time.

Can I buy the Supersizers Go and Supersizers Eat on dvd in the uk? I can't find them here in NZ. I watch them, probably once a year at least on YouTube, I love them so much, but the quality is so bad! I'd love to own them.

Well, as I read it, I came to the conclusion it was certainly the drunkest of times. "Supersizers" kind of affirmed that.

And Americans, for a main dish, you really don't need more than a 4-6 oz portion of meat on the regular. The supersizers have cooked your brains.

Also if you are at all interested in historic food there's a delightful British series called "The Supersizers Go. . ." and "The Supersizers Eat." Food journal Giles Coren and comedian Sue Perkins immerse themselves in a different time period for a week, it's very fun and on YouTube

Very entertaining and thanks to Ivan Day the dishes were historically accurate and prepped by a knowledgeable hand, unlike in "Supersizers go"

Smart people know that doubling the size of something usually makes it cheaper. As millions of supersizers should know.

20. The Supersizers Go/The Supersizers Eat (08-09)
Comedians Sue Perkins (she’s so delightful in everything) & Giles Coren eat specific diets taken from different eras of the past and have to see a doctor weekly so they don’t get sick. It’s still on YT. Brilliant concept.
