Arm SystemReady is a public set of specs, including validation suites that can be run to verify compliance. There is no need to engage Arm on any consulting to be compliant

yeah this goes to the SystemReady stuff that was supposed to fix these incompatibilities and make it easier to build motherboards that just boot the first time without distro and kernel fiddling, and he knows a lot more about that than I do

Like, it MIGHT be possible to extract the Steam Frame's OS and massage it into an AYN Thor, as long as it's not the lite one, purely based on the fact that it might be EFI-enabled (ARM includes it in 3 of their 4 SystemReady compliance tiers)
