The advice: “don’t zoom in, the small details don’t matter” never made sense to me because why does most professional artists that make official render art make such tiny perfect details in everything

I wonder like is this advice actually bad to follow in a professional setting?

Sorry if you keep seeing the same post reappear 😅

I’ve been adjusting the color grading, lighting and overall presentation to fit different social media platforms.

Sometimes tiny visual details matter a lot to me

perfectionist mode won again ♡

Here's a close-up shot of a red Gerbera daisy. This post is especially for those who are not having the best of days. I firmly believe that even a tiny bit of nature on your eyes can calm you down. Flowers are always a good choice no matter the circumstance! boxdnegativ.etsy.com

these are the kinds of small details and tiny decisions that make any art piece of any medium Matter. these are the things that open a window into its creator's heart.

I think it's these tiny details that matter the most, honestly!

Isn't it just? Like, the history of the Catholic Church is long and bloody and awful, and there are a million examples of horrible hypocrisy over tiny details, but if you look at the history, so many of them go back to "struggling with which tiny details matter and which can be no big deal"

Not my soggiest but I LOVE how this lighting highlights all the teeny tiny details of my diaper and instantly captures your gaze no matter how fast you were scrolling through your feed. 😵‍💫🥰

Painting and limiting layers feels like it’s freeing my mind lmao

I’m a perfectionist and focus too much on tiny details that don’t matter but painting is helping me be messier and more “go with the flow” vibing ^^

♌️ Focus on avoiding getting stuck obsessing over tiny stuff that won't matter next month. You could easily spend hours polishing details nobody else will notice.

No one will argue the plan for herd immunity via mass infection in 3-6 months was successful.

So they claim tweets like this don’t exist, or they don’t matter, they were just tiny details, not to be mentioned.

Some even pretend these tweets are only about education.

♌️ You're getting lost in the tiny stuff that doesn't actually matter. Step back and see what really needs your focus instead of tweaking details that only exist in your head.

Visible matter like stars is actually a tiny fraction of the matter that's out there . . . what's the rest? @govertschilling.nl wrote a whole book about the elephant in the universe: dark matter. 🔭⚛️

in the end I'm just being an asshole getting mad that someone who's learning this stuff can't immediately comprehend the nebulous and squishy tiny details that don't actually matter that I insist matter.
I need to learn how to teach.

My favorite part of starting a new book is when I get to buy all sorts of non-fiction and become ridiculously fixated on learning tiny details that may never make it onto the page, but it doesn't matter because I have fooled the world into letting me have "be obsessed with everything" as a job.

In life’s grand palaces and gardens, little wonders matter most. A hinge’s gleam, wood’s grain, or prism’s sparkle reveals hidden beauty. They spark joy, and remind us: tiny details weave the extraordinary. Let‘s share the tiny details.

i watched a youtube video that said "Rian Johnson makes films about details that matter" and man that is the case

But that's such a tiny difference and such a tiny chance it will matter, and that's the logic of "Look, you should vote for anyone or anything to stop Trump, all the specifics like genocide and trans rights are details to worry about after we win."

Newsom is not an exact replica of Trump, no.

Tip for the GMs, writers, and worldbuilders;

When going about designing a setting, whether it's a continent or a tiny-ass hamlet, ask yourself two questions;

What *do* they have, and what *don't* they have?

No matter when you ask that question, it *will* help you figure out details.

Dev note 🐾

A tiny detail that took more work than expected 😅

The Image Hint stays locked until it becomes available.

Selecting it plays a sound and shows:
“Image hint is not available yet.”

Small details matter too.
