I bought Trajann Valoris used and painted for cheap at my FLGS. So now that I've finished Valdor, it makes sense to revisit the current captain general.

I was gifted this Trajann Valoris model so I did my best to paint over like 4 hours

Here's an updated group photo of my Custodes & Sisters army to date!
The first one, the sentinel at the center behind Trajann, was started in 2020, and the newest, the woman on our left, was finished just a few months ago in 2026.
It's so cool to really see my painting journey in this image!

Trajann progress. I’m really proud of myself for getting the details of his axe right.

Thanks so much for ID-ing it! That means it must be off Trajann Valoris as he's the only one I've ever painted 🤯 So that means I left a bit off him several years ago when I thought I'd finished, and it's sat on my desk since 🙈 Oops!

Tutorials about painting the “Watcher’s Axe” that used to belong to Trajann Valoris are available on my patreon. Of course now it belongs to my special Adeptus Custodes Guard equipped in a chrome armor and is available to my Director’s Cut supporters #warhammer #warhammer40k
