Is this where TwitLit has escaped to?

One thing I miss about early Twitter is #twitlit or #twitterature. Since birds tweet but butterflies flit around, why not use the hashtag #flitlit or #fliterature? (BlueSkyLit doesn't have the same ring to it.) #Writers let's get creative on this platform.

Over the next few days, I'm planning to recreate a #shortstory I wrote on Twitter in 2019. It was an experiment in #twitlit or #twitterature to tell a story in tweets. X has broken the way it used to work, so I want to see how #BlueSky will do. #writingcommunity #fictionsky #storysky #comingsoon

River Hill: Part 1
Every #Southern town worth its salt has a ghost story. Will this be one? You’ll decide. Follow the story of Sarah, Rose, and Marcus.
This #story was originally written on Twitter in 2019, and I'm recreating it here with minor changes.

This for me as well. It gave me connections I'd never otherwise have made. I found people who are now real friends, some I love. I was introduced to authors and books I'd not have had it not been for the TwitLit community. I'll miss that. I mourn that.
Exactly this. I have no allegiance to Twitter itself. It's the community I will miss. The community where I found a home in books & publishing. It took years of careful sowing to reap that feeling, to savor those connections. I don't think anyone running Twitter now will ever understand this.
For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.

I can't even verify that I am in one somewhere but it must have happened because I had none and now it's great to find what used to be TwitLit, pretty robustly representing.

@jeffersonreid New Twitlit: The Case of the Disappearing Tweet. Will be read, then lost, then found, then retweeted. That too will be lost.

Mulling the idea of spinning off a podcast version of @iambapoet. That sound like something you'd be interested in hearing?

Has anyone tried #writing a story over multiple posts like what we used to call #twitlit? I have a story I'd like to move from that other place over here but would like to see what others have done first.
