Mask up. Hand wash. Vaccinate. Ventilate.
Reading about how “even mild COVID-19 infections can shrink the brain” and how infected people showed “decline in their mental abilities to perform complex tasks” for months really makes keeping my mask on a lot easier, I have to say
Uh oh: Brain damage caused by #COVID-19 may not show up on routine tests, study finds

I'm still confused why Big HVAC didn't squeeze 100 billion out of Congress to absolutely ventilate the shit out of every classroom in America.

I had to stop oil painting because I couldn't adequately ventilate my space. Even in college opening the windows in the studio didn't stop the fumes from making me woozy. ("Odorless" mineral spirits absolutely stinks.)
PLEASE. PLEASE. If you are an oil painter or even traditional artist, READ THIS. Take as many precautions as you can with your art.

Covid is airborne
Flu is airborne

Open windows ventilate
Clean the Air
Remember there is no reason for alarm. You can easily protect yourself with a well-fitted respirator. Back it up with air filtration and vaccination.

In the heart of Romania, Sibiu is known for its distinctive dormers that peek from rooftops like watchful eyes. Built by Saxon craftsmen between the 15th and 19th centuries, these unique windows were originally designed to ventilate attics where grain and wool were stored.

This this this
Washing hands and wiping down surfaces will not do much to protect children from a deadly, highly infectious, airborne virus. Vaccinate and ventilate.
While infection control and cleaning is always a good thing, it’s not going to cut it for measles. Measles is airborne and highly contagious. The best approach is vaccination, and local infection control should focus on ventilation and air cleaning www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
Nurseries in England bring in Covid-style protocols as measles cases rise
Staff deploy infection controls and step up cleaning as cases pass 500 for year to date and after one child dies

GET VAXXED FOLKS!!!! And mask up to avoid infection, ventilate the air, and test as much as possible. All of these things help support vaccine efficacy 💪💉

I always wear masks to the salon & the owner installed big HEPA filters throughout the salon to ventilate it better. There are lots of ways to mitigate risk if people have the will.
The woman who cut my hair today wore a mask. I thanked her and she said, “I have my own health stuff! But even if I didn’t, I’m all up in everybody’s business all day. It’s just common sense.”

And god, I wish everyone had it.
