My water kefir is bubbling and multiplying like crazy 🥰 Have you ever tried water kefir soda or kombucha?
For those of you who don't know water kefir, it's a symbiotic culture of different lactic acid bacteria and yeasts.

I’ve been making #WaterKefir with the elderflower that’s growing in my backyard orchard, with some lemon and honey. It’s really good!

Ik ben ermee opgehouden. Kefir. Waterkefir. Kombucha.

Probably my favorite water kefir color with the flavors of dragon fruit, butterfly pea flower and ginger.
I'm never buying soda from the store again.

I wanted to revive my waterkefir for a while and yesterday I rehydrated a bunch of frozen grains. Today they are already frizzing again in my cupboard with some mango, apricot, apple and cranberries. Lovely! 🥰😋

For about a year and a half, I’ve been making homemade #WaterKefir. It’s a non-alcoholic probiotic drink similar to kombucha. Every two days, it takes 5 minutes of prep and I get a new liter jar of it. You can by a starter for $12 on Amazon. Here are some recent batches. Really good!

My obsession with fermentation motivated me to make a video on making water kefir.
I'm starting a YouTube soon and think I want to record a sort of 2.0 version.

Enough people in my house drink water kefir, so I need to keep a variety of flavors on hand.

Fermented drinks are sorted out for the week.
Cranberry/ orange, and strawberry/ ginger kombucha, and strawberry/jalapeno and dragon fruit/ plum water kefir.

Homemade #WaterKefir, at t=0, 24, and 36 hours in the fermentation process. I love how the buoyancy of the fruit changes. Every 2 days, I get a new fresh batch.
