Talking to Sam Smith about DID:KERI, he said it's duplicity detection mitigates multi CA issuance (trillian current mitigation) against IANA rooted domains (nation state threat vector). Just posting for visibility of perhaps an aligned effort. Maybe a combo could help?

There once was an app called Freetalk on Freenet, which used a WebOfTrust graph for content filtering. When you signaled distrust of an identity, they were hidden from you, and anyone who signaled trust towards you. Was fantastic for auto-deplatforming Nazis in a decentralized way. We need more WoT.

If you are an adult that can handle being responsible for filtering your own feed, there's a plugin for Hyphanet called Sone (Social Network) that does a purely distributed social feed that's mediated by a plugin called WoT (WebOfTrust) that handles identity announcement and service declaration.
