As we were trudging back up the bridleway to Strete we came across a wall where the ivy-leaved toadflax was all this #WhiteForm which I’ve seen nowhere else. #wildflowerHour @wildflowerhour.bsky.social @bsbibotany.bsky.social

#Whiteform is so last week, but I had the chance to visit the Burren yesterday and as well as a million purple devil’s bit there were these pure white and pale pink forms. And more wonderful things including #seedheads for #wildflowerhour later. @bsbibotany.bsky.social @wildflowerhour.bsky.social

For this week's #WildFlowerHour challenge - #WhiteForm - here are three from earlier this year.
An Ochroleuca Early Marsh orchid, a white Viper's Bugloss, and - possibly my favourite - a pure white Heath-spotted orchid.

It’s Sunday & it’s 8pm, so it must be time for #wildflowerhour! Have you found the #whiteform of a wildflower this year? If you have please share your pics, other more brightly coloured wild & naturalised blooms that you’ve spotted in the last week are of course welcome too! ☺️
A part of natural variation, many of our favourite wildflowers can also be found in white! A little different, the challenge this week is to share any #WhiteForm flowers that you’ve found this year. Share your pics for #WildflowerHour this Sunday 8-9pm!
