The plants go from the base of the tag to just below the hole for hanging, which is in the middle of an evening sky, with pink and orange clouds on a deep blue sky. Evening primrose looks really lovely in the evening, but flowers during the day as well.

Today, our letter is F, for fleabane, a small daisy-like flower in the family Asteraceae.

It’s a complicated flower to draw when my head hurts. 🫠💜

Almost finished! This is a pinkster azalea, a native that grows in the woods here. We have some by the stream. They’re very pretty, not as showy as their cousins. 😊💜💜💜🌸

The letter is A (for Azalea), drawn in an Art Noveau font, edged in dark pink and gold, filled with azalea buds and a single bloom in the top right corner, at the point of the A. The tag is designed with a hole for hanging, which is surround3d by a sun and blue sky. The tag is outlined in dark pink and gold. Underneath the label, hand lettering reads: “AZALEA Pinkster (Rhododendron periclymenoides) Virginia wildflowers”. (Azaleas and rhododendrons are poisonous; this includes the honey made by bees that gather nectar from their flowers! Just FYI.) This is part of a planned series.
