更新系统后，小米开始经常在夜里重启，我不太清楚原因，但抓日志看到这行，和重启时间大致匹配：

ZoomWM zones can now shrink. (This whole time they've autoexpanded when windows push them to; it took me a while to need shrinking, but it finally happened. 🤭)

Oh yeah did I mention ZoomWM has Zones now? They're like virt desktops but spacial.

Window icons implemented!

Now windows have icons and their counterpart on the applications menu have them as well!
It took me like... ~4 hours? but it's because I had to add the whole WindowManagerApi to pass messages via IPC, and added also terminal commands for them

Das schlimmste an Linux ist, dass man wirklich alles anpassen kann. Bin von KDE Plasma auf hyprland (Windowmanager) und Noctalia ("Taskleiste") gewechselt und schraube da so viel rum, damit es immer genau macht, was und wie ich möchte, und schaffe das auch so gut, dass ich nicht aufhören kann °^°

Hang on, the iconbar in Arthur wasn't "fake". It wasn't built into WindowManager as handle -1, but WAS an established convention epitomised by the "Desktop" and replicated by lots of Archimedes programs. For example, here's Highnote, which I used extensively before RISC OS:

Window 1.4.0 changes how WindowSizeClass works from fixed values to allowing custom breakpoints, making it way more flexible and futureproof. There's also a bunch of improvements around Activity Embedding.

Gigantisch verschil met 20 jaar geleden toen je voor duusd en één dingen nog zelf drivers moest gaan zoeken of uitpluizen welke nu eigenlijk de goeie was. Configuratie van de windowmanager was ook vaak ellende. Ettelijke grijze haren gekregen van xorg.conf ...
