@booksrme.bsky.social is an AI-generated bot account pretending to be a book reviewer.

I've blocked and reported. My writer friends may want to do likewise.

Dear fellow writers, don't let the hot weather - and the heady thought of someone noticing your writing - lead you into scam territory. If it sounds beyond your wildest dreams, it probably is. Search #writerscams and see what others have experienced.
Today's prize for most nonsensical spam email goes to whoever thinks I'll believe the programme director of the Cheltenham Literary Festival wants to headline a book of mine from 2019. Can't find any way to let the lit fest know via their website, so I'll settle for flagging this for fellow authors.

I'd send my monkeys after all of the scammers out there. Got up this morning to *11* pieces of scam email! Since I can't get any real monkeys, maybe I'll write another horror novel where they're all relegated to hell for the scum they are.

Another scammer. Even apart from being obviously AI-generated (The hyperbole!) yet also error-riddled (missing periods, capital letter in the middle of a sentence, period after Netflix at the end), this isn't how Netflix would contact a writer. And their email address! LOL!

Gee, I wonder if Rafaella Dimitris is a real person at MacMillan, and if she knows she sent me an email. . .
