Certain Elox cloned X already several times and sells to black market all of it in parts.

Also Spyware is placed that invades beyond Xapps removal. X is a data for blackmail heist platform. Elox answers to nobody.

Hab ein altes Handy. Selbst wenn es ginge, hab ich dann den Speicher voll mit xApps?
Ich möchte nur einfach und schnell einkaufen.
Warum ich das doppelte zahlen soll, erschließt sich mir auch nicht.
Solche Sachen finde ich auch eher ärgerlich.
Sieht für mich nach Willkür/Phantasiepreisen aus.

Mint's literally designed to be stupid simple, you just go into XApps and install stuff for the most part, if the software you need isn't already there, and it does most of what most people need. And this is coming from someone who's worked with Arch.

the only thing linux mint is known for is cinnamon, kde is more of a fedora and arch-based desktop

also the team has strong ties with the MATE and xfce devs, developing libadapta, xapps, and their own first party tools like mintinstall and mintupdate, which only really works well with gtk3 desktops
