its no secret I adore the Yaldaboth ending more than the 2/2 bad ending, but these really highlight the (admittedly shaky) references to Satanael being Yaldaboth under another name in some texts as well as his adversary.

any deep dive into P5 Lore on wild cards, yaldaboth and Goro always has me looking like
So Ren and Goro both have wild card potential. Were hand picked by these gods (Igor, Philemon, Yaldaboath) for these games but Yaldaboth rigged things to maximize his own victory. Which resulted in Ren being monitored and Goro remaining ignorant.

As much as I love to entertain the idea of Goro real protag of p5, Lavenza clearly states that the original deal even before Yaldaboth changed things was to pit two wild cards against each other. One for humanity and the other to incite distortion and complacency.

You're right, neither Goro and Joker have a contract with the Igor, they both have one with Yaldaboth. That's how they were able to have their abilities awakened.

Like basically, I'd put Loptyr in the same category as (I said) Odio or if we go a bit beyond the "personification of evil" and to more general concepts, the way Hashino Persona final boss trio represents a central idea that game explores with (l9ike how Nyx is death or Yaldaboth hte subconcious)
