What a summer! REU student Derek Heidenfelder ran DFT calculations on advanced semiconductor materials for energy applications using the UNC Charlotte supercomputer. Derek did an amazing job, and it was a pleasure having him in PML this summer. #UNCCharlotte #NinerNation #MaterialsScience
