I, like many people, have become very, very wary of the left pivoting to making "Zionist" an all-encompassing identity that can be selectively weaponised. It's totally unnecessary. If you want to condemn the state of Israel, you don't need to bring anything else into it.

There is no pro-Israel argument against the term "apartheid" that doesn't end with them justifying that system of apartheid. It is a much more useful term imo.
