2014 Time had Laverne Cox on the cover for “the transgender tipping point” and soon after an internationally coordinated hate campaign kicked into high gear, so I expect that by 2028 guardian columnists will be writing weekly breathless columns about the consciousness craze seducing our chatbots

The TUC, congress of all the UK's trade unions, have voted to condemn the EHRC guidance and backed self-ID.

Good luck finding reporting on it, you'll struggle to find it, even as the papers report on plenty of other things the TUC has voted on, and speeches.

Thousands of posts! Science!
I'm going to sleep now & someone wake me up when LessWrong isn't being cited in the mainstream.

Wake me up when the eugenicist doomsday cult led by a self described "genius" writing fan fiction about having sex with girls to increase population "intelligence," isn't setting the "AI" narrative.

New calligraphic work: "On Resisting ICE and the DHS"

This one is complex enough that I am providing a key to how it's structured, similar to those keys you see that show how a Talmud page is divided up. See the alt for the explanation.

clang-tidy didn’t report anything in our header files because it silently ignored a regex feature it didn’t support in the path filter :(

bolstering my position that filters that match everything or nothing should be a failure condition by default.

Truly wild to have lived through moral panics about teenagers wearing hoodies and Muslim women wearing the head dress to now experience 'but is a large group of organised far right activists in balaclavas really that scary'
What a ridiculous question. Once again the BBC drives a nail into it's own coffin.
