#Adaptors
why did they make 45 adaptors have aura

ALSO! Did you know that you can get adaptors that will fit the shank on a reciprocating saw?

Moving house snafus, part 347.

Clearing out my old home office, I had way too many 12v DC adaptors (from hard drives, hubs, and so on).

I had a huge cull.

Turned out, I culled too hard 🙄

Just had to buy a new 12v DC adaptor for my speaker system. D'oh!

Something that @fenristsukigami.bsky.social and @azuren0v4.bsky.social put together for fun.

Umamusume teams if they had the Symphogear adaptors as trainers.

The catalytic residue of the TLR4 TIR is required for immune signaling in human cells.

In our updated preprint with @v-hornung.bsky.social’s lab, we show that a single point mutation in this site abolishes the LPS response in macrophages 🧵

Conserved catalytic activity of animal TIR domains functions in TLR4 signaling
The Toll/interleukin-1 receptor (TIR) domain is important for immune signaling across bacteria, plants, and animals. In animal innate immunity, TIR domains are thought to function as adaptors mediatin...

Look at the mess we have here.. haha
random plug shapes (there are more), appliances with 3 and 2 pins, both either THICK or slim...
no SINGLE standard...

We kinda have to use adaptors to survive... 🫠

I weirdly had this in a version with no middle in the 7" so you had to use one of those adaptors to play it.

Very productive evening repairing my Amiga 600 (again). Bought one of those right-angled CF adaptors, but the original connector was damaged by previous cap. leakage (I recapped it years ago).

Nice clean desolder, installed a new (shrouded) IDE connector and it works a treat!

By using an MIK plate on the panniers, you could make them sit further back on the rack. This would be a bit clunky if your rack isn't already MIK compatible, but adaptors are available.

(This is basically what I've done on my bike, although it isn't a UA).

Adaptors with helicoids are also good as you can have infinity focus and a variable amount of close focussing. I have an M42 one for vintage lenses

Had to go into device management and disable and restart my wireless network adaptors. Sorted now. A big nuisance.

On a positive note, just got my first half of my headphone->phoenix adaptors for my RGB matrix splitter from @jlcpcb.bsky.social 🥳

The actual phoenix and 3.5mm connectors are still traveling.

Will be nice to finally get my multi-console setup functional.

My 'can it be storage?' experiment just updated. 10k+ types of storage adaptor, a wizard builds storage adaptors from RFC or API-doc, MCP and skills. I think the definitive answer is 'yeah it probably can be an unreliable Dropbox, whatever it is'  github.com/neitzert/pic...

Finally completed my Smart CRT project thanks to a rats nest of adaptors in order to get it looking correct. Decided to test it with Bunlith The Witch Upstairs! Episode 2. Its such a good fit I question if she designed it for a crt

AI use in science - we were early adaptors of AlphaFold structural predictions, which helped us ‘putting the puzzle pieces together’ and guiding us in our experimental work. But I am ‘old-fashioned’ in valueing the human intuition & creativity, which make discovery a process and not a mere product.

Got a second one of those hyper-specific PS2 Slim AC adaptors that are supposed to be the best things ever made. About £15 on eBay. No hassle.

MTM1 and MTMr1 and MTMr2, all have sorting motifs in their C-Terminal tails that are normally found in the tails of cargo proteins and bind to cargo adaptors like SNX17! Could these same motifs also regulate the activity of cytosolic enzymes?

The good news...the adaptors sent from EE does mean I now can use other phones that I own around the house. And I worked out how to link to the router.

UT/NV. 120 mi is common. Didn't have all the adaptors, and trusted the hotel charger would be functional. Now I have the adaptors and don't plan on hotel chargers (but use them if they actually work.) What saved me? An RV park with a 220 outlet I could charge enough to get to the next fast charger.

Yeah...😭
Issue is that every few years the regulatory agency changes the plug standards for appliances and houses, but updating ALL the house plugs all the time is not something practical, so we here often resort to adaptors...
I'll use the opportunity to check and update them to the new system...

If cargo and MTM1 share the same sorting motifs and bind to the same cargo adaptors, then this binding should be in competition with each other. Using our in vitro system we find that and high cargo levels out compete MTM1 bind to Snx17 and thereby blocks PI(3)P depletion!

I used to feed my protogen like half a dozen SD cards for breakfast but in this economy I'm having to try just the adaptors, I hope he doesn't notice 😅

The black and white scans are from Radio Shack catalogues from the day of equipment used. Adaptors were to expand microphone inputs into the mixer (they worked in reverse). Apology in advance to Kirk Harnack for reusing his photo at the HUGE mixing board. 2/2

Funny huh! My phone adaptors from EE were ordered late Monday afternoon. Arrived yesterday.

Something from Amazon to be delivered yesterday by local Royal Mail. Nothing. They said it was out for delivery.

Today...not expected until Wednesday.
