_Friday, August 21, 2026_ Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way. O/ A pad of paper and the sunrise and you. Thanks for reading. And good job finding me in all this internet dark. For over two years every morning I share words of hope, intelligence, and common decency with the world in very high traffic internet places. Purposefully, I post them in ways unfavorable to algorithms to make a point to help us all. Having machines as gatekeepers of information, social information, is inhumane and tears the fabric of our society. There's no empathy in a machine. Code isn't concerned about human well-being and advancement. Its only consideration is class. A democratic algorithm is an oxymoron. It's something we need to discuss the human utility for and its possible ramifications before well... what we've already done: Trust our information systems to it. The hell viewed on every screen in media circles is not the result of human failures. Faith in classification algorithms is at fault. The willing devotion to place our media, social and otherwise, into sets of class creates an anti-freedom environment in the words and images we share. In America, our stories are grouped and fed to us by class. Our Country is a democracy; our information distribution systems at present are a class system: The opposite of free. It's why all these groups keep doubling down on their stances. Democrat is a class. Republican is a class. Black is a class. White is a class. Rich is a class. Poor is a class. A class system of government is exactly what democracy is set to defend against and exactly where algorithms are taking us. Because it's what they're built to do; it's how they operate. But we'd rather play a video game than protect our freedom. Tough love for sure, but true. And love. O/ We're better than what we witness on our screens everyday. Each morning, in some way, I showcase why and how while the sunrises. Because we all must do our part to keep this experiment in freedom called America going. I come at it from the point of view of a poet. Words and the powers of language, specifically the written word, is my life's work. In the realm of my profession is where the disease causing the disorder is. Machines can't write; they can only classify. American Government isn't a team sport; it's a team effort. In fact, that's the whole point and purpose of our Nation: We're better when we work together. To tag a person puts them into a class... a process otherwise known as removing their freedom. "That's a right-wing story. That's a left-wing fantasy. That one's for Blacks. That one's for Whites..." That's all talk that's very un-American and exactly what's News every single day, lately. My words don't pander to a system of classification algorithms. My words belong to me... like yours do to you. We can do better than allowing machines the opportunity to tell us what we can talk about and read. A book or movie your close friend tells you is worth looking at is always better than a computer's recommendation: And exactly how a free people works. So I write and share everyday.
