Also, I have so many questions about the quest to create autistic monkeys. Captive monkeys have always exhibited tics, repetitive movements, self-harm, & other traits linked to neurodivergence. Why the fixation on a particular biomarker or 2? Are there any critics in this area who know things?

Ich bin mir recht sicher, dass es kurz- bis mittelfristig zielgerichtete Ansätze anhand Subgruppen-spezifischer Biomarker geben wird, die deutlich besser funktionieren werden als unsere aktuellen Primitivmethoden.

I have devised a biomarker for ageing. It is a complex algorithm (current year - birth year) that is strongly associated with frailty, mortality, and voting conservative. I need a $300m grant to run the algorithm with a transformer and 40,000 NVIDIA GPUs. Please do not steal my idea, thank you.
It’s quite interesting to me how the literature on biological aging has determined that any health marker that changes with age *is* age. And so instead of saying “disadvantage X impairs health, as does age”, we suddenly say “disadvantage X accelerates aging”
