1. Elon Musk isn't the first, tenth, or ten thousandth person to suggest digitising more government processes - and those other people threw fewer Sieg Heils per annum.
2. The reason govt. digitisation happens slowly is that it's expensive, disruptive, and hard.

So starting September, I am fully digitising my store. All my art will be downloadable. Meanwhile, I intend to focus on creating physical paintings again while opening a snail mail club (which uses stamps - much easier!)

I spent a few hours digitising 4 old Johnny Hodges LPs. I've added them to my stick for playing in the car and I'll burn them onto two CDs for my collection. Blow, baby blow!

it's unfortunate, i do understand it because digitising is very expensive and time consuming for museums and libraries which are already underfunded, but still think public domain is best!
