#FF/FG
Ah well. Maybe after the next half decade.

The state of this, FF/FG should be morto!
Ireland’s governing coalition got off to a rattled start today as its new member, a loose-cannon group of rural independents, insisted on holding positions in both the government and the opposition.
Ireland’s government face-plants on first day as partners trigger bedlam
Independents who back Taoiseach-nominee Micheál Martin’s new coalition provoke parliamentary gridlock over their strange demand to hold both government posts and opposition seats.

FF and FG are such a hypocritical shower.

Ireland. Still a great place for landlords!

FF and FG are ideologically incapable of solving the housing crisis. 👍
Opposition parties have rounded on plans by Housing Minister James Browne to reduce apartment sizes and community spaces as a way of cutting the cost of construction, saying that the plan has been tried before and failed.

Ivana Bacik proposal to SocDems and Greens to come together to negotiate with FF/FG is simply an invitation to repeat the same old mistakes of Labour.

It would be a disaster. People want rid of FF/FG, not to prop them up.

All on left should rule out coalition with FF/FG.

Thanks to FG and FF we are holding onto proper Irish values.
The number of children in households below the poverty line rose to 200,000 in 2024.

This is despite the fact that the average disposable household income has increased jrnl.ie/7155239

Losing FF points for a missed 67 yard FG is bullshit.

FF/FG will listen to the spoiled tally but what they’re going to hear and act on is “Be more racist”

For a majority, 88 TDs are required.

Possibilities and Probabilities are

FF+FG+ Ind Ir = 89/90
FF+FG+SD = 95/97
FF+FG +Lab = 95/97

And interestingly

FF+SF+SD. =95/96

Repeat after me: FF/FG are ideologically incapable of solving the housing crisis.

FF and FG have appointed Ministers for the Gaeltacht who can't speak Irish.
Think they need reminding of that fact.

I think it’s sweet that ff and fg show such loyalty and devotion to lowry, what good pals
February 26, 2025 at 8:52 PM
The left cannot let anti-foreigner sentiment slide just because it’s wrapped up in criticism of FF/FG. No “enemy of my enemy” shit. Principles over factionalism

Getting FF/FG out of government and keeping them out for a century is now an existential question for Ireland.
The wildfire in Tipperary covered 700 hectares. The smoke could be smelled 100km away at Cork Airport.

Fianna Fáil/Fine Gael have spent the summer setting the climate act aside, saying it has been "weaponised" by NGOs.

More people want to see a left government than the continuation of FF/FG.

There is an onus on all on left to build on the momentum from Connolly campaign.

All parties should now join PBP in ruling out coalition with FF and FG, so that the next election can be a clear choice.

Do FF/FG know that they have fucking jobs
January 9, 2026 at 9:08 AM
Good for me, but really are we the cohort who need tax breaks - that money would be better put to use among the many struggling in this high cost economy. FF/FG won’t buy my vote with this financial ‘sop’.
Last minute changes to the tax package for #Budget2027: the cutoff point for the higher tax rate now rises by €2,500 (more than expected), so those earning over €46,500 get €500 more per year. PAYE and Personal tax credits rise by €125 each. Full time worker on average wage takes home €750 more (1)

Clearly FF and FG core voters are well enough off to do, prolly with the money they have from renting out houses and getting HAP.

It's time for a Left Government. That means ruling out coalition with FF and FG. People Before Profit are the only party guaranteeing you that your vote won't be used to prop up FF and FG.
