6. Homeless shelters could be forced to turn away trans people. Universities could be forced to end inclusive policies in bathrooms, sports, name and gender changes. Nonprofits and FQHCs and Hospitals could all be targeted if they acknowledge or serve transgender issues.

Title X funding is up for renewal next year and it will be open to CPCs but not PP. I’m not even sure if FQHCs will be allowed in.

Providers' #1 complaint about Medicaid is it doesn't reimburse enough. The family doctors and FQHCs are right. The hospitals and nursing homes are mostly lying. But all of them will close without stable, predictable base funding provided by Medicaid. Good luck making America healthy again!

If you’re someone with insurance, you should consider getting your healthcare at a local federally qualified health center because your payments subsidize care for uninsured people who need sliding fee scales and as more people become uninsured, FQHCs are going to need to serve more people

I don’t think reporters read past the press release to the actual letter itself but it’s not “an investigation into Planned Parenthood.” They are also asking for data from ALL FQHCs and even a couple of indie abortion chains

This is one I was worried about. SAMSHA is an important org to fund and enable addiction services. States are not prepared for the loss of funding and support for CCBHCs and addiction services in FQHCs.

As a community health nurse my greatest fear is that Medicaid & grant funding will be held hostage in order to make FQHCs & hospital systems comply with HHS to disclose information about vulnerable community members. People are already suffering!

GEORGETOWN – Governor Matt Meyer and the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Thursday announced nearly $23 million in Rural Health Transformation Program funding for Delaware’s three Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to strengthen health care delivery and improve access for the communities they serve. Westside Family Healthcare will receive $11.3 million, La Red Health Center will receive $10.1 million and Henrietta Johnson Medical Center will receive $1.29 million. The funding will support technology, workforce, care coordination, chronic disease management and other capabilities that help the health centers better serve their patients. “Delaware’s Federally Qualified Health Centers are on the front lines of providing care to people who need it most, and this investment will give them more tools to meet patients where they are,” said Gov. Matt Meyer. “We’re investing in the people, technology and services that can make it easier for Delawareans to get high-quality care in their own communities.” The funding is part of Delaware’s Rural Health Transformation Program, which includes 15 projects focused on expanding access to care, lowering costs, growing Delaware’s health care workforce and preparing the health care system for the future.
