And remember - Minneapolis residents have been disproportionately the users of HourCar/Evie. Saint Paul was already putting in more money.

“I’m packing up my personal belongings from my office into an Hourcar and leaving town.”
MPR's Nina Moini told me live on the air that Mayor Her is going to make a big Hourcar announcement tomorrow. It has to be good news, right? Here's hoping!

It would actually cover the $650,000 Hourcar needs. Sad.

FYI I'll be on @mprnews.org at 12:20 with Nina Moini to talk about some transportation stories like Waymo and Hourcar. Check it out!

Attention Evie/Hourcar fans!📣

TOMORROW the city will be making an important announcement at 11am over at Harding High School (1543 3rd St E).

We suggest that anyone passionate about carshare as a bridge toward car-free living tune in or, if you are able, join us.

What if, and this is wild but hear me out, carshare and bikeshare programs in the Twin Cities were both 1) folded into Metro Transit and 2) adequately and sustainably funded? This can happen! It would make sense! We can have nice things! #transit #carshare #bikeshare #Minneapolis #StPaul #Hourcar
