At Naidex disability expo at NEC Birmingham & met two wheelchair users I’d met at the NEC last year who had been cosplaying as Aziraphale & Crowley. They gave me a DUCK! 😍🥰

At Naidex, I chatted with a fellow #Disabled author who published their debut book through JKP, much like I did. That was the 1st I heard of the troubles Unbound is having right now & this aspect is unacceptable because it will affect so many of my peers in this community in the worst possible way.
As someone who comments on book publishing, I think it would be extremely remiss of me not to comment on what has happened at Unbound. Full disclosure - I know John Mitchinson and previous owners well, (professional friends), a few years ago they paid me to support their authors with marketing ....
... I'm aware that I am supposed to stay silent about this. Authors are supposed to fear the publishing industry & its ability to kill their careers. But I will NOT stay silent about the five figure sum Unbound owes me, nor how it has betrayed the trust of my readers...
