This viewpoint is near the highest #backpacking site on the #SandRamp #Trail in #GreatSandDunes #NationalPark #NationalPreserve. It was pretty chilly in May but offers a great view of #dunes & #SanLuisValley from above.

One of the cool things about #GreatSandDunes #NationalPark & #NationalPreserve #NPres is that it includes a bit of the #highplains, #sanddunes #dunes, lots of #foothills, and shares part of #SangredeCristo #mountains.
