We're very proud that our recent PhD graduate (and now postdoc) Rosie Wilkins' study on RNase H2 overexpression in human cells has been published in Oncogene.

Uggh. I really wish that publishers would not be doing this.
This is in Oncogene.

Can we get one download button for one file containing the article + all supplemental figures and tables, please?

The Cell suite of journals actually does this and it is so lovely.

There is growing interest in possible links between SARS-CoV-2 and cancer. I strongly recommend this video series which discusses why it might be even worse.

Bik had reported the Oncogene papers to the journal in 2019. In February 2024, Bik sought an update and Springer Nature told her the investigation was still ongoing.

Fascinating obituary of Peter Duesberg who went from renowned scientist discovering the first viral oncogene to HIV denialist who influenced Thabo Mbeki and HIV policy in S. Africa which led to millions dying.
Human beings are complex creatures indeed.

Oncogene aberrations drive medulloblastoma progression, not initiation - Nature
A large-scale multi-omics analysis reports oncogenic alterations that drive medulloblastoma progression, rather than initiation, and the findings show how single-cell technologies can be used for early detection and diagnosis of medulloblastoma.

End-of-the-year preprint & first 🧵 where the sky is blue! Ever wondered how a cancer driven by a single mutant oncogene becomes molecularly & cellularly heterogeneous? Why metastases share drivers w/primary tumors but are more aggressive?
