#ColdSeason is peaking. #OverTheCounter cold meds may not be worth what we spend on them, and some folks insist #antibiotics will cure their #URI. Old school #ProTip: Tea w honey(or lemon or both) may work as well or better for that itchy #throat/nagging #cough. #graphicmedicine

Oh! You can get 4% lidocaine in various overthecounter gels/ointments etc. I find it uninspiring for shingles. Tiger balm might be a good choice as long as you don't have open blisters. I haven't used it yet.
