There's a lot of extra support for strings in SAM BASIC on the #SAMCoupe. The command string$(n,a$) is very useful for quickly making a string, I often use STRING$(40,CHR$ 0) for creating 40 bytes of zeros for setting all palette entries to black.

There's a lot of extra support for strings in SAM BASIC on the #SAMCoupe. The command string$(n,a$) is very useful for quickly making a string, I often use STRING$(40,CHR$ 0) for creating 40 bytes of zeros for setting all palette entries to black.
