🧵... I often criticise Kobrahsoft's SAM Machine Code Course when this advert appears. When I first bought this I returned it under their money back guarantee. I was reacquainted with it as I got my hands on another copy when buying a pile of second hand software years ago.

Before easy access to the internet I found the magazine covertapes to be a wonderful introduction to PD demos, games and music from Europe where the ZX Spectrum also thrived. Logo was a fun puzzler, boosted by Ziutek of ESI's soundtrack.

Before easy access to the internet I found the magazine covertapes to be a wonderful introduction to PD demos, games and music from Europe where the ZX Spectrum also thrived. Logo was a fun puzzler, boosted by Ziutek of ESI's soundtrack.

Never had to have a speccy replaced under warranty, but when the membrane on my 48K failed I went with the £30 quid upgrade to a + rather than just a new membrane. I rather liked the new keyboard, but the main benefit had to be the reset button!

Sony stopping Playstation discs in 2028? Yikes! I'm still all for physical media, I even include real floppy disks in with SAM Revival magazine for the SAM Coupe computer!

I have put together a SAM Coupé program for importing Spectrum BASIC from disk, including variables, auto-run etc. The translation is based on BTRANS from the MGT Utility Tapes to which I (after hacking it to bits) added variable importing and disk support.
