The erosion of 'the private' due to tech progress (cameras especially) means we've had to become more legalistic (but I don't think this is a 'liberal' thing and I think it's wrong to say liberalism means everything should be legal unless it causes harm).

It's not necessarily a bad horror movie (there are some flat out terrific scenes) but I didn't think it worked as an Evil Dead movie. The characteristic sense of anarchic glee was mostly MIA.

I am gradually becoming certain that almost everyone orbiting Trump is connected to Epstein in some way. Males due to zionism, greed, model or real estate agencies, money laundering. Females being victims, some becoming recruiters, escorts, wives for sale.

I felt similarly with this. The Mini-Series was much more fun bc even though they included some of the dialogue from the book, they kept it short but meaningful and did the rest with facial expressions.

Those are some good books! I wrote Smoke & Thunder partly in homage to them (and partly in response to them, since I had some different ideas about how things should work). I used them as basis for a lot of house rules in my 3.5 campaign. I still have my copies, because I can't get rid of anything 😅
