#TimeSeriesAnalysis for #TemporalNetworks

Based on the abstract and inspection of figures, the impact of this work will be huge!
🚨 New preprint out!

We build **scalar** time series embeddings of temporal networks !

The key enabling insight : the relevant feature of each network snapshot... is just its distance to every other snapshot!

Why Does Stationarity Matter?
In this post, I will discuss "Why Does Stationarity Matter"? Whether you are studying econometrics, diving into data science, or building predictive models, time series analysis is a fundamental skill. At the heart of this analysis lies a critical concept: stationarity. Why Does Stationarity Matter? Stationary Time Series Major Analytical Problem When Working with Non-Stationary Time Series How to Detect Stationarity Graphically in EViews Time Series Line Plot Correlogram (ACF and PACF) Non-Stationary Series Issue Identifying Stationarity vs Non-Stationarity Here is a breakdown of why stationarity is the bedrock of reliable predictive modeling, along with a step-by-step guide to visually detecting stationarity in EViews.

Time series analysis is an effective tool for cracking real-world crime cases. It's only one of the many techniques that we have explored during a police-led training5. Here's how we have added our spin using R.

Learning time series analysis through CDR – PID Perspectives
In January, I started attending police-led training on CDR analysis through the American Association of Crime Analysts. This topic is particularly fascinating for anyone with a background in working with telcos and their data, as records can contain all sorts of valuable information. Especially when it comes to solving crime through time series analysis.
