It’s not enough that Labour MPs have made statements. The Party needs to speak out unequivocally.

My mom’s white old lady friends were all talking about going to the rallies today and how it was important that they go because they were less likely to get arrested (and even if they did they were old so they wouldn’t have to spend long in prison).

The NYPD and ICE mistakenly arrested a Chilean woman who is a permanent resident in New York City and left her poor frightened 12 year old daughter on the street alone.

Bishop &co don’t like creatives because their livelihoods are not dependent on bosses who can fire them. High unemployment, less security in housing & work, as well as unethical bosses, can make it unsafe to speak out. It’s why unions are important & artists/creatives too, & those of us that can.
