Pedestrians DO matter. Yet even
RNZ News & The Spinoff are agin us. Trying to walk Thorndon Quay is a nightmare. I have to get a taxi to visit my accountant or some shops there cos there is mostly nowhere safe to cross near bus stops. I'm with Wellington City Council.

Lastly: image etiquette. Bsky was built to enable and support visionimpaired people. The use of ALT text is *strongly* encouraged. Many peeps will not boost an image without alt text. I have set a reminder in my bsky preference setting to remind me to complete alt texts on my images before I post. +

I've had this website crash on me so often, deleting my alt texts, that I think sth like that would be useful.
Or search terms.

As a person who has friends who are vision impaired, I know someone who is legally blind who loves it when I try to use alt text to describe my posts for them. For us who can see (I can see rn) it’s the least we can do.
