I've been revisiting some of my very first cup designs, this time with a straighter shape.
I threw and trimmed them mostly by feel, without much measuring, which made for a set of cups that are similar but never quite identical.

This is a rare occurrence: a piece I'm genuinely happy with, even proud of.
I think it's that rare mix of enjoying the process, hitting zero frustration along the way, and probably not having too high expectations, since this bowl was more of an experiment.

My love for round vessels is quite intense.
This one was probably my favorite piece from my second ever firing, but sadly the glazing wasn't really convincing. And you're seeing the good side, obviously.
