For today's #AHM2025 #histbookchat, I began reading Jung Chang's "Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China". Only 2 chapters in, Chang's grandmother's story is astonishing. Given the turbulent times the book covers, expect much more. This should give me good prep for her book on Mao.
