Good framing!
I say it plainly: I do not celebrate Castro. I call Cuba what it is, an authoritarian regime, and I will fight for the Cuban families who fled it.

Meanwhile, Ashley Moody backs deporting Cuban families back to the regime they escaped.

Hate framing these as boomer complaints when they're like, consumer rights

It is, ultimately, damaging your ability to accomplish things long term or to win elections long term because you assume that you can't change the framing of the conversation even though changing the framing is a tool that's right there for you to grasp. It's incompetence. Malpractice.

It’s really about framing Obama’s joke as an insult to white people by an uppity negro above his station.
So “discourse” around the joke seems to be centered around the overpriced eatery, and not the fact that our president has the taste and delusions of grandeur of a petty dictator?

Framing pictures decently is a challenge

peggy and the gals after framing mcveigh

Hahahahaha oh man the Times is getting so hard at the thought they can throw a close one to the Republicans with this framing.
Operatives aligned with Alaska Democratic Senate nominee Mary Peltola spent months recruiting candidates to peel votes from her Republican rival. The group worked to coax would-be spoilers into the race to dilute the incumbent's support and help catapult Peltola to victory. trib.al/gWKhuWh

My fucking god the framing of credible new to the public rape allegations against Trump is goddamn criminal
691 words about Cheesecake.

434 words about rape.

👇🏽 While I don’t like framing people as a resource, it is functionally true that the transphobia is also a waste of talent.
There's a constant low-level discussion on English-language bluesky about the electoral consequences of transphobic rhetoric from left-liberals but I think it's honestly worse than "they might not vote for you", it's more like, you're cutting yourself off from political labor and talent.

I understand why some people are upset about this or the framing esp in the context of trump admin really trying to steal the election BUT

I’m sorry this is objectively hilarious

In my experience as a student of framing there are a few big collective action problems:

1. Left brains are better at framing but tend to go into the arts
2. Right brains are far more comfortable repeating shit
3. Effective framing requires infrastructure, which the right invests billion in

specifically who said it and where, vs framing it as the unanimous european view

I don’t know who this person is, so if they’re better than the framing suggested by this headline, let me know. A real Curtains for Zoosha situation.

Mark Carney laughs off suggestion the Trump admin is setting up Canada to be the "fall guys" for midterm losses: "That's an interesting way of framing it."

unfortunately we have the ‘biological males’ framing here in the rest of the clip so I am going to have to rescind my ‘see how easy it is, red state dems’

this sucks! do better!
Holy shit. This clip edits out the very next thing he says:

'we can't stop ai so we might as well go along with it'

you realize that's a bad guy phrase. the good guys in the stories would never say that. that's a villain framing.
October 27, 2026 at 7:56 AM
it's a very nyt framing

I love your comment “AI is a social choice, not a technical inevitability”.

Excellent framing

There's the subtle framing of the question to push your audience, and then there's the Jeremy Vine show:
Are consultant doctors being greedy by planning to strike?

They earn, on average, more than £140k a year.

But they are planning to strike over pay for two days next month.

Patients are being forced to cancel appointments and operations.

Do you think consultants deserve more?

These anti-trans Dems are saying "biological males" should be banned from girls sports because they know exactly how bad it sounds if they say "transgender girls" should be banned from girls sports.

They're using "biological males" framing as a sort of self-justification and self-soothing.
Holy shit. This clip edits out the very next thing he says:

A federal ban on gender affirming care and submitting to the Republican framing about trans people in sports is going to advance their interests how, exactly?

Highly Touristy Beach Photo

I love this framing. Spot on.
a rude technology deserves a rude response.

if you find someone in your living room scanning your family photos, stealing your notebooks, and setting the house on fire, you don't need to start the interaction with polite caveats about whether they might be good at their job
October 24, 2026 at 9:47 PM
The framing could have been better.
