Stuff Romantics liked just before railways altered the world. Kasteel van Bouchout, Meise. Neogothic rebuild of a medieval castle, T-F Suys, 1832>.

Only in response to bad implementation of sci-fi concepts do we get the Kickass Catholicism which was promised to us by neogothic pulp fiction.

It's nice to see Manchester Town Hall emerging more and more from the scaffolding.

They got the art deco style quite well in the Caped Crusader animated series, I'd love to see more NeoGothic for Batman!

"...a secluded driveway weaving sinuously between two broken marble columns, past a rusted portcullis the camera manipulates our perceptions into a sepia-stained cheap seventies gothic foreboding, a form of vampyric titillation"

the real neat thing about gothic architecture was that it was meant to push the envelope so neogothic is sort of antithetical to the whole principle of it

... Please don't put it in the paper I'm opposed to neogothic architecture &c.

And then a trip down memory lane. As a student from 1996 to 2000, I lived in this neogothic Justus Lipsius College designed by Joris Helleputte (with later wings by pupils and others). It's closed now for extensive planned renovations which will take years.

A Brief Adventure into Tourism Season

I ran out of coffee and it was too late to order more so I visited a nice place up the street for some beans and found myself at the very heart of Ottawa's tourism central. Lovely weather made for good vibes, so it was nice. Esp. after Thursday.

Bristol has the topography but has not done nearly enough to use it. The fact that we still don't have our own Elevador de Santa Justa is frankly a scandal at this point. I will vote for any mayor that pledges to replace Trenchard Street multi-storey carpark with a 145ft neogothic pedestrian lift.

¿Soy el único que cree que la torre del reloj de la catedral de Manizales quedó mejor así?

Let’s have another look at Our Lady of Lourdes in Bogotá, a basilica finished by the beginning of the 20th century by a local architect, Julián Lombana.
The profusion of towers and pointed arches point towards (pun intended) Neogothic, but it’s supposed to have a bit of Morisco in it.

Our GrubHub delivery driver this evening provided this proof-of-delivery photo. The progenitor of LA Neogothic photography is still a gig worker for now. But not for long, I suspect.

i just visited a very beautiful neogothic church and it was very pleasant but an odd experience overall because i could hear the very loud speakers from the cafe across the street playing rock music, i couldn't help but wonder if they turned the music off during mass
Why the fuck do conventions keep doing this
