I loved Nolan's Odyssey. I loved Emily Wilson's translation of the Odyssey.
But I especially love this new era of posting.

If you want a big spectacular book-adaptation American movie about a reluctant clever hero on an impossible journey through weird places (which I do), Project Hail Mary is great.

Which is a shame, because I've read all three major translations and Emily Wilson's is phenomenal. Haven't had the activation energy to start her Iliad. And then there's Walcott's Omeros, which is the Odyssey as seen through West Indian fishermen searching for their roots in post-colonial St. Lucia.
